Crock Pot BBQ Beef Sliders Recipe 2019

Crock Pot BBQ Beef Sliders

Sliders are one of the trendiest bar foods today, and a favorite of hipster “Gastro Pubs”. The origin of these small sandwiches was in diners where the prep work was “slid” across a large flat top heating surface. Devotees to the style of sandwich have all sorts of reasons of what makes an authentic slider, but the real benefit is the smaller size, which can put them somewhere between an appetizer and a meal.

This recipe is a great starter idea for making all sorts of sliders for group parties or just for dinner with the family. One trick that we learned years ago is if you are doing these for a large amount of people, get packages of hot dog buns, cut off the ends, and cut in half horizontally. It creates two perfect slider buns.
