Easy Pull Apart Pizza Bread Recipe

A great example of why we love Bundt pans at the cabin- they are incredibly versatile. The origin of this recipe appears to emulate a classic “monkey bread” recipe, where eaters pull from the cake little balls that make up the entire cake.  In this case, instead of a desert, the “pull apart” cake is pizza like, making it a fun meal for kids and for parties.

Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Original Bundt Pan

Ingredients:

2 Cans of Pizza Dough or Biscuits
2 cups Mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese)
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
⅓ cup olive oil
1 – 8 oz package of pepperoni (mini or cut regular size into smaller bites)
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut pizza dough or biscuits into quarters (4 pieces each biscuit).
Cut the pepperoni into smaller pieces.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and toss so that the oil is spread evenly on each piece of dough.
Place all in a no-stick sprayed bundt pan.
Bake for about 30 minutes (or until the top is brown and the center is thoroughly cooked)
TIP: Be sure to check it in the middle before you pull it out. (Ovens vary.)
If the middle is still not cooked thoroughly be sure to leave it in another 5 minutes
Keep checking, may have to add 5 additional minutes, until it’s done.
Flip over on to a plate while it’s still hot.
Garnish after flipped with shredded parmesan cheese
Serve with a side pizza sauce and enjoy!
